Seoul, Korea (April 10, 2026) — CalvinLab has just announced the launch of RAVE STUDIO AI, a concert lighting design software with a built-in AI agent that automatically generates a complete crowd lightstick show from audio analysis. The software is designed for concert producers, lighting directors, and live event teams who need professional-grade crowd lighting without the manual programming overhead traditionally required.
At the core of RAVE STUDIO AI is an AI agent that reads the musical structure of a track — including song sections, energy levels, mood, rhythm density, and individual beat events — and produces a full sequence of lighting cues covering the entire performance. Every cue includes effect selection, color palette, timing, fade curves, and layer structure, generated in a single automated pass.
"We built RAVE STUDIO AI because the creative vision for a concert should not be limited by the time it takes to program a lighting show. Our AI agent reads the music the way a lighting director would — and designs the show accordingly, in seconds."
— Calvin Kim, Founder, CalvinLab
The software features Rhythm All mode, in which the AI agent aligns every lighting pulse to the exact millisecond of each kick drum and snare hit, ensuring beat-accurate synchronization across the crowd. The underlying DMX rendering engine runs at up to 60 frames per second with a zero-allocation architecture, broadcasting finished frames directly to lightsticks hardware via CalvinLab's RF broadcasting system.
